Pricing + Services

My rate is $80/£60 per hour, for all academic support services and all levels.

Most sessions are conducted 1-1 for maximum personalization, however in some cases I have worked with groups of siblings or classmates for a reduced rate. There is only a 1-hour minimum for scheduling appointments. I meet my students wherever they are comfortable: in their homes, at libraries, or even your favorite coffee shop. If I can’t get to you due to scheduling or if you are not located in Nassau or Suffolk County NY, then you should ask me about online tutoring.

  • College Entrance and Professional Exams

SAT, ACT, TEAS, ASVAB, GRE, GMAT, plus many more.

SAT and ACT represent a major subset of what we do, and accordingly we have extremely specialized and nuanced knowledge of what it takes to reach your goals. Other professional exams including those for nursing are also covered, which are too numerous to list.

Most commonly, we are asked to help sort out foundational math anxieties on these tests. However, our expertise is comprehensive and includes the writing, language, and science sections of many major tests.

  • Mathematics

Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus I, Calculus II, AP Calculus, Statistics

We also service younger students in math support and enrichment starting from very early education.

  • Chemistry and Physics

General, AP, and numbered undergraduate courses.

The classic “hard sciences” are going to be hard no matter what, but we can help make the task of overcoming them more simple.

  • Placement Exams

I’ve helped students skip entire college courses, like precalculus, that they would have had to pay for with a few sessions before their placement exams.

  • College Essays and Academic Advice

Need help navigating the college application and financial aid process? Writing an application essay? Looking for some advice on what to study next? I’ll lend all my experience and advice to help you with your next steps. I typically work with the same students for many academic years in succession and continue supporting students even as they transition from high school to college.

  • General Enrichment

We can prevent the summer slide by keeping your kids’ math skills sharp, or help you explore something new and interesting in ways that school alone never could. We develop custom curricula across multiple media formats for a wide variety of needs and we’re really interested to hear about your project!
